Niki Bakhtiyar is an Iranian sound designer, composer, and musician based in Los Angeles. A graduate of Berklee College of Music’s Electronic Production & Design program, her background spans instrumental performance, electronic production, and live sound. Her work focuses on sound design, composition, spatial audio, and interactive audio implementation for games, VR, and visual media.

Alongside her sound design work, Niki maintains an active practice as a DJ and live electronic performer under the name NIQI. A resident DJ at Infra Boston, she has performed across the East Coast and shared lineups with artists including Freddy K, Kangding Ray, Alarico, and Ø [Phase]. Her performance practice extends into hardware-based electronic music and improvisation, bringing together her background in musicianship, electronic production, and sound design
